Every couple dreams of a little time alone. During this winter break my husband and I left the children with my parents and snuck off to Palm Springs for a night. We spent the day taking photographs at the incredibly beautiful Joshua Tree National Park. Here I am modeling my new, dark purple, one-shoulder, satin evening dress with the splendor of the high desert as a backdrop.

Dramatic photos! Beautiful landscape and gorgeous dress. It sounds like you and your husband celebrated the holidays as my husband and I did, although central Arkansas is definitely different terrain that this!
