Wet N Wild nail polish in Club Havana - The Style Confessions

I was planning a long post for today but I seem to having issues with tendonitis. A new keyboard is pending and will hopefully help the problem but in the meantime I thought I’d share a couple of things. First, I think I’ve found my summer pedicure color of choice. This bright coral color is called Club Havana and it’s by Wet n Wild. The stuff is cheap and tenacious. I love it!

Also in the post is a Pinterest challenge where you can win some new hair products. Next, people are always sending me infographics to share. Normally I don’t, but this one was really cute.  Have a great weekend everyone!

Do you get tedonitits from repetitive strain injury? If so which part of your hands? Always interested to know stuff like that. I’m always trying to switch up my desk to avoid any aches and niggles when typing/scrolling.

Lovely shade for your manicure as well, looking forward to chatting tomorow :-).

It’s mostly my right hand and I think it’s from the mouse and my phone mostly. I’ve read that repetitive mini movements, like with a mouse, are what make tendonitis worse. I just purchased a new “ergonomic” keyboard which is taking a little getting used to, and i’ve put my tablet back so I can navigate the computer with the pen instead of the mouse. I think it will help!

I have followed Sylvia’s advice and bought a flat board with a pen to navigate. It does scroll but is not as handy as my mouse so I have left the mouse on too. Something Sylvia advises against. And I understand why. You tend to use the mouse again. But I am using the pen more and more and even with my left hand.
At work I have switched the mouse to my left hand and therefore also switched the two main functions of right and left. Did not take me more than an hour to get used to that.
Would also be handy if my computer at home was lower or my chair higher.

The not smoking and using sun block are probably the most important for anti-wrinkles, but I know you live in a colder climate so the sunblock might not be as important for you.

Two warnings about #5 on the infographic:
Most soy is GMO. Be sure to look for ORGANIC soy products!
Farmed fish (like that cheap salmon at the grocery store) is also GMO. Current US laws don’t require labeling as such. My nutritionist calls it frankenfish. To be safe, buy wild fish.
    Scary, right?

Sorry about the tendonitis. Not at all fun. Hope it’s gotten better!

Hi Anne, Yeah, I never eat soy for that reason, or farmed fish, yuk. I just thought the info graphic was cute. Anyhoo the tendonitis is better. I’ve switched from the mouse to a pen on tablet and have invested in an ergonomic keyboard. Seems to be helping!

The nail varnish is gorgeous! I’ve not tried that one before. I also do like the cute and informative infographic! Hope the tendonitis has gone. /Madison

More nail polish colors coming soon. I LOVE that brand! The color lasted 6 DAYS on my nails. I’m amazed! A longer article is coming soon. And yes, the tendonitis is better. The pen/tablet in place of mouse has helped, as has my new keyboard.
