My New Pink Blouse

My new pink blouseThey say pink is “in” for fall, right? Well, maybe not shocking watermelon pink, but who cares! I love it!

A subtle print of blue flowers covers the sheer silk fabric of this peasant-style blouse, actually a tunic. I’m wearing it tucked it into my jeans, but it’s almost long enough to be a dress. I found it on sale at my favorite consignment store and have already worn it several times. I also decided a matching camisole was necessary and although the one I found at Nordstrom isn’t the same color exactly, it is similar enough. It adds just the right amount of opacity to the translucent blouse. I guess I could also wear it with a sexy pink bra underneath, but I don’t have that (yet!).

My New Pink Blouse – The Music Video

The video is about a minute and a half long. It’s set to a great tune by Garmisc entitled “And Now We Stand Against The Wall” from the album Fishes. My husband and I shot it this weekend at The Disney Music Center in downtown Los Angeles. If you can’t see the video please check it on directly on the blog by clicking here, or see all my videos on The Style Confessions Vimeo Channel.

Lovely tunic, a great buy and I think you will wear it over and over again. It looks very feminine and does not limit your movements. Great buy. Beautiful sandals and bag too.

Thanks Greetje! I’m very happy with it. Silk is so cool in the heat.

Keep the videos coming I love them! How come you choose to show them on Viemo as opposed to YouTube, just out of interest?

Hey Arash. My husband chose Vimeo over You Tube because he feels it’s a more serious, professional, place to showcase one’s work. I was uploading the videos to The Style Confessions you tube channel but I stopped because it takes freaking forever and I can share directly from Vimeo. So, that’s the vimeo story. Glad you like the videos! I have to get out an take another one this weekend. We’ve kind of fallen behind!
